Welcome Message

Dear colleagues and friends,

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 42nd Annual Symposium of the Korean
Glaucoma Society, which will be held on November 20–21, 2026, in Seoul, Korea.

The Korean Glaucoma Society continues to grow as a leading academic community
dedicated to advancing glaucoma research, education, and patient care. Through
sustained efforts and collaboration, we strive to address the evolving challenges in
glaucoma management and to improve patient outcomes.

This year’s symposium will bring together distinguished speakers, researchers, and
clinicians from around the world. We have prepared a comprehensive scientific
program that highlights the latest developments in glaucoma, including emerging
technologies, clinical innovations, and
ongoing controversies in diagnosis and treatment.

In particular, our international sessions will provide a valuable platform for global
academic exchange and collaboration. In addition, a substantial travel grant program
has been prepared to support outstanding participants and to encourage broader
international engagement.

The meeting will take place in Dongdaemun, a historic area of Seoul, at a venue
located along the Seoul City Wall, where centuries-old heritage meets modern
architecture—offering an inspiring setting for both academic exchange and collegial
interaction.

On behalf of the Korean Glaucoma Society, I would like to express my sincere
appreciation to all invited speakers, participants, sponsors, and organizing
committee members for their contributions and support.

We hope that this symposium will offer an inspiring and meaningful experience for all
attendees.

Warm regards,

President, Korean Glaucoma Society
Tae-Woo Kim
